Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to disburse the old age pension from 01.09.2014 and to pay continuously by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though she has been paid old age pension, from 01.09.2014 suddenly, it was stopped without any rhyme or reason and in this regard, she submitted a representation dated 05.02.2015 and inspite of the receipt of the same, neither the representation is disposed of nor the old age pension is paid, therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, who has drawn the attention of this Court to the affidavit as well as the typed set of documents, would submit that the stoppage of old age pension is totally unreasonable and prays for interference. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Per contra, Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent, on instructions would submit that this petitioner is not entitled to old age pension as she is in possession of property and her claim does not come within the norms and also passed rejection order and undertakes to serve the same within a period of one week from today.

5. In the light of the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order rejecting her request for continuation of old age pension in accordance with law. No costs.
