This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Joint Commissioner (ST) strictly in accordance with his seniority in G.O.Ms.No.72, Commercial Taxes and Registration (E) Department, dated 07.07.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a writ petition challenging the panel.
