O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to file the Final Report / Charge Sheet.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that a complaint has lodged with the respondent police as against one Chinnamani and the others and the same was registered in Crime No.160 of 2011. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 28.02.2011, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Government Advocate.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.160 of 2011 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
