BHARATHIDASAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.3221 of 2021 IN CRL OP.178/2021 BABU [ PETITIONER / ACCUSED ] Vs STATE REP BY [ RESPONDENT / COMPLAINANT ] INSPECTOR OF POLICE, ANTI VICE SQUAD 1 POLICE STATION, CHENNAI - CCB DISTRICT, CR.NO.33/2020 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the bail condition imposed in Crl.OP.No.178/2021 dated 11.01.2021 that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police every Monday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.E.RAMANNA, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/S.S.KARTHIKEYAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (The case has been heard through video conference) The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that this Court by an order dated 11.01.2021, directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily, however the petitioner appeared from 24.01.2021 to 22.02.2021. Since the petitioner has not appeared before the respondent and not cooperating with the investigation, the respondent police is not in a position to proceed with investigation.

2. In such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police daily for a period of two weeks from 01.04.2021 and thereafter as and when required. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
