O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner by consider the petitioner complaint dated 05.02.2024, based upon the judgement and decree dated 03.01.2023 in O.S.No.151 of 2018 on the file of District Munsif Court, Rasipuram.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint dated 05.02.2024 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent Police.

The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh 2/4

reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action in the light of the judgement and decree dated 03.01.2023 passed in O.S.No.151 of 2018 on the file of District Munsif Court, Rasipuram. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
