The order impugned dated 30.10.2018 was issued, by the Deputy Chief Personnel Officer / R&W for Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Southern Railway, publishing the list of office bearers of zonal office and the list of central office representatives/ All India Other Backward Classes Railway Employees Association (AIOBCREA), South Zone.

2. The order impugned would indicate that the elected office bearers submitted representation to recognize the office bearers and the railway authorities, in turn, communicated the results of elections to all the Subordinate Authorities for information.

2/5

3. Such information provided by the Railway authorities to the Subordinates regarding the elected office bearers would provide no cause for filing the present writ petition. If at all, any dispute exists between the members of the employees Association or an election dispute arises, they have to approach the competent Civil Court of law for the purpose of resolving, the issues.

4. More so, the impugned order indicates that the period for which the office bearers were elected was from 2018 to 2021 and it had already been expired. Thus, the order impugned lost its relevance and therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

5. Accordingly, the repetition stands dismissed. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (sha) 02.01.2024 Index : Yes Speaking Order 3/5
