Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible on the representation dated 11.01.2017 made by the Petitioner seeking enhanced compensation in respect of the lands acquired from her ( submitted pursuant to the Hearing dt.30.12.2016 at 11 AM convened as per the 1st Respondent's Hearing Notice rp//g/vz;/138-16-a[- nj/be/vz;/7-ehs;/ 27/12/2016) For Petitioner : Mr.N.Murali For R1 to R4 : Mr.D.Raja Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible on the representation dated 11.01.2017 made by the Petitioner seeking enhanced compensation in respect of the lands acquired from her ( submitted pursuant to the Hearing dt.30.12.2016 at 11 AM convened as per the 1st Respondent's Hearing Notice rp//g/vz;/13816-a[- nj/be/vz;/7-ehs;/ 27/12/2016). https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 4. 3.The District Collector/first respondent who is also the Statutory Arbitrator under the National Highways Act, 1956 is required to fix a date for enquiry sometime during the second week of June - 2021 after the conclusion of the General Elections to the State Legislative Assembly and to conclude the enquiry within a period of 12 weeks thereafter, after giving notice to the Requisition Body (NHAI) and granting them an opportunity of hearing.

4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
