This petition is filed to condone the delay of 48 days in preferring the appeal against the order of the Commissioner for Employees Compensation, Coonoor, Camp at Erode dated 28.10.2022 in E.C.No.14 of 2019.

2. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent has filed counter stating that the delay of 48 days is un-explained and therefore the same should not be condoned.

3. I have gone through the affidavit and counter affidavit filed by the counsel and in the interest of Justice, the delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner pays a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) on or before 05.06.2023 to the counsel for the respondent.
