Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 29.07.2008 submitted to the 1st respondent, which was forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent on 08.08.2008.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2008 submitted to the 1st respondent, which was forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent on 08.08.2008.
2.Mr.K.N.Nataraaj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the fact that the petitioner has given the representation as early as in the year 2008, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that since the representation was given in the year 2008, the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent and in such case, the 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law within a time frame. 4.Mr.K.N.Nataraaj, learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner would give a fresh representation within a period of four weeks.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner is granted four weeks time, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent and on receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's fresh representation.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
