ORDER

The prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the Respondents to release the Petitioner's Vehicle, bearing Reg.No. TN-67-T-1121 , which was seized by the Tahsildar, Cheyyar, Tiruvannamalai, on 19.12.2017.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. According to the learned Government Advocate for the Respondent, the vehicle in question had already been released to the Petitioner on 25.07.2018, by proceedings in Mu.Mu.A5/2183/2018, dated 25.07.2018 of the Respondent and a copy of the said proceedings has also been produced before this Court. In view of the fact that the vehicle in question had already been released, which is the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, this Writ Petition has become infructuous and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
