PRAYER: The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution, to set aside fair and decreetal order dated 08.11.2021 passed in I.A.No.6 of 2021 in O.S.No.9252 of 2019 on the file of Hon'ble XVIII Addl. City Civil Court, Chennai. For Petitioner :

The defendant has taken out an Application in I.A.No.6 of 2021 in O.S.No.9252 of 2019 for appointing a Power of Attorney under Order 3 Rule 1 and 2 CPC and this was allowed by the trial Court Vide order dated 08.11.2021. This order is challenged by the plaintiff/revision petitioner.

2.Heard, Mr.S.Pushpakaran, learned counsel for the Revision Petitioner/plaintiff.

3.This Court does not consider any reason to interfere with an order such as the one passed by the trial Court. Appointing a Power of Attorney for conducting the case is an option available to a litigant under Order 3 CPC and to accept it, is between the Court and the litigant concerned. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel for the Revision Petitioner indicated that the Power of Attorney deed produced by the Court is inadequately stamped.

5.The XVIII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai is only required to look into this aspect and no further. 6.The Civil Revision Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
