The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to grant patta in respect of the property bearing S.No.227/3, 227/6, Old Number S.No.195/1 situated at Agraharam Street, Kalasapakkam, Tiruvannamalai District measuring East to West 150 feet and North to South 60 feet.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation to the 3rd respondent on 09.12.2012, so far, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order on the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

3.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2012 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
