ORDER

In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent, not to fill up the one vacancy to the post of Nursing Superintendent Grade II, available in the Dharmapuri District on the basis of the counselling, which was held on 29.12.2015 by the 1st Respondent.

2. When this Writ Petition is taken up for consideration today, there is no representation for the Petitioner. However, this Court heard and considered the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents has submitted that the prayer in this Writ Petition has become infructuous, inasmuch as the Petitioner has been promoted as a Nursing Superintendent Grade II, pursuant to the order dated 13.01.2016 and also produced a copy of the said order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the order dated 13.01.2016, nothing survives in this Writ Petition, as it is seen from the order dated 13.01.2016 that the Petitioner has been promoted as a Nursing Superintendent Grade II, which is the prayer sought for by the Petitioner in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed, as nothing survives. No costs.
