This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order issued by the second respondent bearing Note No.005/474/E1/TNSTC(VPM) Vellore/2015 dated 28.07.2015 and to quash the same and consequently to direct respondents 1 and 2 to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Superintendent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of 2/4

this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
