PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st & 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to petitioner's family members from the hands of 4th and 5th respondents as per the representation dated 20.01.2019 made by the petitioner.

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st & 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to petitioner's family members from the hands of 4th and 5th respondents as per the representation dated 20.01.2019 made by the petitioner.

2.It is seen that the petitioner is the mother of the victim. The fourth and fifth respondents are the father-in-law and husband of her second daughter. It seems that there were family disputes in which, the fifth respondent lodged a complaint to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, CSR No.64 of 2019 issued. The petitioner has also lodged a complaint against the fourth and fifth respondent to the third respondent in which, CSR No.65 of 2019 was issued. 3.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry by calling both the parties and disposed of the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
