The above Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to prepare an inter se seniority between the directly recruited Deputy Collectors for the year 2007 - 2008 and promotee 3/7

Deputy Collectors and publish the same and finalize the seniority and prepare the panel for promotion to the post of District Revenue Officer and grant them all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsels and perused the records.

3. It is now informed by the learned Special Government Pleader that the penal list is already prepared and it is only inter se seniority list that has to be prepared and the same would be ready within a period of 2 months.

4. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to prepare the list within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
