ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction to the second respondent to include the name of his wife, daughter and son in the Service Register being maintained by the second respondent.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he had rendered unblemished service for 32 years in the respondent Transport Corporation and he retired from service on 31.10.2017.

3. It is claimed by the petitioner that he omitted to mention the name of his wife, daughter and son in the Service Register inadvertently and therefore, their names should be included in the Service Register.

3.1. So stating, a representation dated 22.06.2018 has been submitted by the petitioner, in spite of which, as there was no reply forthcoming from the respondents, this writ petition has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been filed by the petitioner.

4. The respondents are represented by the learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Corporation on record.

5. Considering the case of the petitioner, it is the duty of the respondents to have responded to the request of the petitioner, especially for the person, who had rendered 32 years of service. But, the second respondent did not do so. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 22.06.2018, made by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
