The petitioner seeks for a mandamus forbearing the respondents from locating the TASMAC shop in the sixth respondent premises bearing SF.No.62, Sambianallur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tirupur district. At the time of admission, this Court has directed the respondents to maintain status quo and instructed the learned Government Advocate, who appeared for the respondents, to get instruction. Accordingly, the matter is listed today for further hearing.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent submitted that the proposal to locate the shop in the disputed site has already been dropped and therefore, the petitioner cannot have grievance any more.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above statements made by the learned Additional Advocate General may be recorded and the writ petition may be closed.

4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and recording the above statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General the writ petition is closed. No Costs.
