ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2019.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 20.02.2019 requesting the 3rd respondent to issue transfer of patta in favour of the petitioners comprising in Survey No.313 measuring acre 4.52 cents, Survey No. 313/2B measuring acre 0.08 cents, altogether acre 4.60 cents situated at Naavalur Village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the official respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the 3rd respondent within a period of 12 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2019 and, after issuing due notice to the petitioner, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
