Petitions Contempt Petitions filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, seeking to punish the respondents for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the

orders dated 25.07.2014 passed by this Court in W.P. Nos.27867 of 2013 and 28389 of 2013.

These contempt petitions are filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 25 July 2014 passed in W.P. Nos.27867 and 28389 of 2013.

Today, when the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since an order of status quo has been granted in the Special Leave Petition pending before the Supreme Court, these contempt petitions may be closed. An endorsement to that effect has also been made by the learned counsel for the petitioners as under:

"Contempt Petition Nos.124 and 125 of 2015 may be closed since SLP (C) Nos.352/2015 is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon'ble Supreme Court has granted an order of status quo on 27.05.2014."

In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, nothing survives in these contempt petitions. Accordingly, these

contempt petitions stand closed.
