Today, when the appeals are taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that pursuant to the common order dated 13.03.2019 passed in the writ petitions, which is impugned in all these writ appeals, the Block Development Officer, Kolathur, based on the Government Order No.37, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 10.03.2020, issued the 5/9
proceedings dated 12.08.2021, rejecting the claim of the appellants herein. He has also produced the copies of the said proceedings to that effect. Thus, according to the learned counsel, nothing survives for further adjudication in these appeals.
2.The aforesaid submissions made on the side of the respondent authorities have been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the appellants.
3.In view of the above, these writ appeals are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
