ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to re-classify the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition as patta land instead of Anadheenam land.

2. According to the petitioner, erroneously, the aforesaid property is now classified as Anadheenam land. The petitioner seeks for re-classification of the same as patta land. The petitioner has given a representation on 10.01.2026 to the respondents for the said purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Page No.2 of 4

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 4th respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 10.01.2026 seeking for re-classification of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition as patta land instead of Anadheenam land, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
