ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's husband viz., Sayed Ibrahim, aged about 40 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that her husband Sayed Ibrahim, aged about 40 years, went missing from May 2020 and his whereabouts are not known.

Today, Ms.R.Anbukkarasi, Inspector of Police, W-11, All Women Police Station, High Court, is present. 4.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner, instead of giving complaint before the jurisdictional police station viz., C-3, Seven Bells Police Station, had sent a complaint by registered post to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime against Women and Children, Thousand Lights, Chennai and All Women Police Station, Floor Bazaar Police Station, Chennai. 5.
In such view of the matter, we direct the petitioner to approach the Inspector of Police, C-3, Seven Bells Police Station, Chennai and lodge a written complaint. On such complaint being lodged, the Inspector of Police, C-3, Seven Bells Police Station, shall register an FIR for 'man missing' and proceed with the investigation of the case. As and when the husband of the petitioner Sayed Ibrahim, aged about 40 years, is secured, he may be produced before the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai.
