ORDER

This Criminal Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to direct the 2nd respondent herein Inspector of Police, T.Nagar, Chennai to register the FIR in complaint made by the petitioner on 09.05.2015 and also to complete the investigation and file a final report accordingly within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court before the concerned court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is represented that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 09.05.2015 by post and no action has been taken. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint in writing to the respondent-Police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
