ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to secure and produce the petitioner's minor daughter viz., Deeksha, D/o.Rajendran, 16 years, before this Court and hand over to the petitioner.

On 03.03.2022, this Court passed the following order: "It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Deeksha, aged about 16 years, went missing from 19.02.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

Today C.Ravi (Mobile No.9498147630), Special Sub-Inspector of Police, F-5, Pathirvedu Police Station, Thiruvallur District, is present. 3.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Pathirvedu Police Station Crime No.33 of 2022 was registered on 19.02.2022 for 'girl missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the detenue Deeksha was in love with one Rakesh, S/o.Dakshinamoorthy, aged about 23 years and has eloped with him.

In such view of the matter, this Court issues a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gummidipoondi Sub-Division, to supervise the investigation in Pathirvedu Police Station Crime No.33 of 2022 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Deeksha, aged about 16 years, is secured, she shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Gummidipoondi, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.
Post the matter on 01.04.2022."

The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue Deeksha has been secured and handed over to her parents.
Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
