Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

2. This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court in M.P.No.1 of 2014 in Crl.O.P.No.14892 of 2014 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ dated 16.06.2014.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in violation of the orders passed by this Court on 16.06.2014 granting interim stay of further proceedings, the respondent police has filed the charge sheet and the main criminal original petition is still pending.

4. This issue cannot be adjudicated in a contempt petition, more so when the main criminal original petition itself is pending. Hence, the contempt petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
