ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the Principal Session Judge to take the PRC No.05/2023 on the file and assign a session case number proceed the case in accordance with law and dispose the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the charge sheet has been filed before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi in PRC.No.05 of 2023 and it is pending for committal.

4. In view of the above, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi is directed to complete the committal proceeding, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the Court of sessions. If already committed before the Court of Sessions, the Sessions Court is directed to take cognizance and proceed with the Trial.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands
