Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, seeking to direct the respondents herein to expedite the investigation of the case in Crime No.366 of 2023, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent-police and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.366 of 2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation in this case is under progress and the 2nd respondent-police will be able to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three (3) months.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the 2nd respondentpolice to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.366 of 2023 within a period of three (3) months from today.

4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
