Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conider the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2023 expeditiously, and to forthwith remove all illegal and unauthorised encroachments made on the Angalakurichi Road, comprised in S.Nos.1753, 1755, 1756, 1757 & 1758 and on the Natham Poromboke lands on the Northern and Southern side of the Angalakurichi Road,by the residents living on either side of the said road between the Kottur Town Panchayat Office junction and Kumaran Kattam in Kottur Malaiyandipattinam Village of Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District and consequently direct the restoration of the Public Bus Transport facility along the said road through the Kottur Malaiyandipattinam Village. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.E.J.Ayyappan, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on both sides of the road comprised in S.Nos.1753, 1755, 1756, 1757 and 1758 of Angalakurichi road, the encroachment exists.

3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the survey is conducted on 27.12.2023 to find out encroachment on either side of the road. Form-I is already issued to the 5th respondent and the further steps would be undertaken to remove the encroachment. The learned Government Advocate submits that within three months, the steps would be initiated to remove the encroachment and the process would be completed expeditiously. In view of the said statement, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
