This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to modify the conditions imposed to the petitioners by the learned Vacation Sessions Judge of Kacheepuram District at Chengalpattu in Crl.MP.No.1412 of 2016 on 26.05.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

It is seen that this petitioner belongs to DMK party and during the Assembly Election, there was a quarrel with members of AIADMK party, pursuant to which, a case in Crime No.872 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) I.P.C., was registered against the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Vacation Sessions Judge of Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners in Crl.M.P.No.1412 of 2016 on 26.05.2016, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, within two weeks and execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- with two sureties and thereafter to report before the respondent Police at 6.30 p.m. for 30 days.
5. Aggrieved by the aforesaid conditions, the petitioners have approached this Court by contending that if they report before the respondent police, there is a likelihood of further cases being foisted against them.
6. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, if the condition with regard to reporting before the respondent Police is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the police as and when required. Rest of the conditions passed by the trial Court stands same. Two weeks time is granted for surrender and furnishing of bond from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
