By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that inspite of his Agreement of Sale dated 20.01.2015 in Doc.No.2015008 presented for registration, on the strength of the Registered Power of Attorney dated 18.01.2015, the respondent neither returned the document nor registered the same and hence, came forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner who has drawn the attention of this Court to the materials placed before this Court and would submit that it would be suffice to direct the respondent to take a decision within a stipulated time frame.
4. On the said submission, the Court heard the submissions of Mr.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

5. Though the petitioner has prayed for larger relief, this Court is of the view that it would be suffice to direct the respondent to take a decision with regard to the registration of the Agreement of Sale dated 20.01.2015 submitted by the petitioner within a stipulated time.
6. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to take a decision with regard to the registration of the Agreement of Sale dated 20.01.2015 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. No costs.
