ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- It is the case of drunken drive in which two innocent persons have lost their life. The petitioner was arrested on 26.01.2022 and he is in prison for the past 40 days.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the investigation is completed, the petitioner may be released on bail. However, this Court is not convinced with the submission. It is necessary that the petitioner should be detained in prison till the completion of investigation or else there is possibility of tampering the witness and distorting the evidence. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition for bail is dismissed.
