This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, thereby forbearing the respondent, its men, agents, servants, contractors and others authorized by the respondent from laying any type of Road in the petitioner lands measuring 14 cents comprised in Survey No. 53/5, at Mugalivakkam Village in Alandur Taluk, Chennai District and in any other manner interfering with his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said land.
2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the road has been removed from the petitioner's land. Therefore, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition. 2/4
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
