ORDER
This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.38745 of 2016, by order dated 07.11.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 22.10.2016 seeking regularization of their service, and to pass appropriate orders and in the light of G.O.2D.No.29 PWD (C2) Department, dated 09.02.2016, within a period of six weeks.
2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order passed by this Court.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent and by considering the representation of the petitioners, the respondent has passed an order dated 10.03.2017 rejecting the request made by the petitioner. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if they so desire.
