ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.588 of 2021 dated Page No.1 of 4
27.08.2021 on the file of the respondent police within the time limit framed by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.588 of 2021, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.588 of 2021, in which, investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 5.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file the final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a Page No.2 of 4
period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
