The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2013 and enquire into the matter in a manner known to law.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint on 22.07.2013 against Chandrasekar, Srikanth and Balaji on the allegation of cheating for the alleged offences under Section 341, 420 and 506[ii] IPC. But, till date, the respondent police has not registered any case on her complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 22.07.2013 given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as civil in nature. A copy of the Closure Report has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
4. Since the complaint has been closed, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, the present criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in a manner known to law, if she is so advised.
