W.P.31575/2005:Writ petition filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to publish the State- Wise List Containing Marks scored by each candidates in their respective categories in respect of the Selection made pursuant to the Notification issued for the Direct recuritment of SubInspectors of Police (Men & Women) for the year 1997-1998 and consequently appoint the petitioner as Sub-Inspector of police ----- For Petitioner : Mr.G.Appavu -----

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to condone the delay of 1768 days in re-presenting the writ appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It appears that the petitioner had filed the appeal on 27.4.2012. On 10.5.2012, the Registry had returned the papers to rectify some defects. Thereafter, the papers were re-presented only on 24.3.2017, with a delay of 1768 days. In the affidavit filed in support of the above petition, though some reasons were stated for the delay of 1768 days in re-presentation, the same is not found to be satisfactory. In fine, the reasons stated for the enormous delay is not acceptable. Accordingly, this petition for condoning the delay of 1768 days in re-presentation is dismissed.
