This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.5 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offences under Sections 448, 427 and 506(i) of IPC. 2.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2023 has been completed and the final report was filed before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai on 09.01.2025. Hence, the prayer sought for has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
