This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 172 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 25.06.2024. If the cost is paid on or before 25.06.2024 and the affidavit of service is filed, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the main appeal and post the matter for admission before this Court on 26.06.2024, if otherwise, in order. If the cost is not paid and the affidavit of service is not filed on or before 25.06.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without any reference to this Court. (J.N.B.,J.)
