G.Hari Krishnan v. The Managing Director

CMP.NO.12693/2016 IN CMA.NO.SR.38366/2014 TRJ This petition is filed to condone the delay of 3299 days in filing the above said appeal, questioning the compensation of Rs.70,000/- awarded to him.

The reasons stated in affidavit for delay are that after the award was passed on 4.11.04, a copy of the judgment and decree was made ready on 10.1.2005 and on the same day, a certified copy of judgment given to the petitioner.

But, the petitioner has not assigned any reasons for the delay of more than 10 years in preferring the above appeal, seeking enhancement of the compensation.

Thus, this Court, in not satisfying with the reasons stated for delay of more than 10 years, hereby rejects this petition. 20.09.2016 rkm/yj
