By consent the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that her father died on 30.09.1982 leaving behind the following persons viz., (1) Sulochana (wife) (2) K.Gopalakrishnan (son) (3) K.Renuka (daughter) and (4) K.Srinivasan (Son) and according to the petitioner, the above stated persons are entitled to succeed to the estate of her father. It is the further case of the petitioner that the second respondent, daughter of petitioner's mother's younger sister by producing false documents managed to get legal heirship certificate. On coming to know about the evil intention of the second respondent, the petitioner and her younger brother gave a representation dated 27.11.2009 to the first respondent to delete the name of the second respondent in the legal heirship certificate and further sought for issuance of legal heirship certificate depicting the names of the above stated persons. It was also followed by a reminder dated 08.09.2014. Since the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the first respondent.

4. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the application submitted by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 08.09.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the person concerned, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
