Respondents Prayer:- Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the Respondents for their willful disobedience of the common order of the Hon'ble Single Judge dated 30.09.2019 passed in W.P. No. 2/6

For Petitioner : Mr. N.G.R.Prasad for in both Cont.Ps M/s.Row and Reddy For Respondents : Mr. S.Silambanan, in both Cont.Ps Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Special Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The Petitioners have filed these Contempt Petitions stating that the entire monetary benefits that they were entitled to receive in terms of the order dated 30.09.2019 in W.P. Nos. 32338 and 32445 of 2017 passed by this Court have not been granted to them by the Respondents. Subsequently, the First and Second Respondents have sought for clarification of the said order in that regard by filing W.M.P. Nos. 7749 and 7750 of 2021 in this Court and a separate order dated 09.11.2022 has been passed therein whereby the differential amount of monetary benefits have been directed to be paid to the Petitioners by 31.12.2022 under written acknowledgment.

In such circumstances, these Contempt Petitions are closed with a clarification that it would not preclude the Petitioners from working out their 3/6

rights, if the Respondents fail to make payment of the differential amount of monetary benefits due within the time limit stipulated by the Court in the order dated 09.11.2022 in W.M.P. Nos. 7749 and 7750 of 2021 passed by the Court. No costs.
