ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been preferred seeking for a direction to the Principal Subordinate Court, Ponneri to dispose of the HMOP.No.214 of 2020 pending on its file.

2. It is seen that despite the order of this Court having been dispatched on 26.06.2025, there is no report received from the learned Principal Sub Judge, Ponneri. The communication was addressed to the learned Sub Judge only to ascertain the convenience of the Court for fixing reasonable time for disposal of the Suit.

3. However, since no report is received, this Civil Revision petition is being disposed of without waiting any further.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

5. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of HMOP which is pending since 2020.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that trial has now commenced and at that stage, Interlocutory Applications have been filed to receive additional documents.

7. In the light of the above, this Civil Revision Petition stands allowed and the Principal Subordinate Court, Ponneri is directed to dispose of the HMOP.No.214 of 2020 finally, in accordance with law and on merits within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the parties. No costs.
