The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation made by the petitioner 09.11.2012 in U.No.34730612 before the Chief Minister Cell and 14.02.2013 in U./44812/13 and also represent dated 9.11.2012 and 14.2.2013 to the 2nd respondent for resurveying the land and issuing patta to the petitioner with respect to 0.5 1/2 cents passage measuring an extent of 100 square feet, running 4 feet from east to West 25 feet south to north bounded on the north by the petitioner property, south by Narasam Street, West by Perumal property and east by 3 feet water channel and thereafter, Narasam Lane. 2.
The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the petitioner submitted a representation to the District Collector for conducting resurvey in respect of the land, in which, the petitioner is in possession. Admittedly, the land with the possession of the writ petitioner is Narasam lane. However, the classification has to be verified by the Revenue Officials based on the revenue records maintained by the authorities competent. On verification of such land in respect of the classification all further actions are to be initiated. However, the writ petitioner is at liberty to submit an appropriate application before the competent authorities under the Patta Passbook Act for grant of patta. If any such application is made and the same is to be considered in accordance with the provisions of the Patta Passbook Act. 3.
With these observations, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, there is no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar maya To 1.
