This writ petition is filed by the Defence Assistant, challenging the order dated 26 October 2016.

2. When it was pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner as to how the writ petition is maintainable at the instance of the Defence Assistant, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is withdrawing the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement so made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
