The present petition has been filed to modify one of the condition imposed on the petitioner in Paragraph No.6(c) of the order dated 05.01.2023 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.31103 of 2022 while granting anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one of the conditions imposed on the petitioner is that " the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on alternative days at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.. He would further submit that the petitioner is working CMDA Industrial Estate, Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpet and it is very difficult for him to comply with the condition and went to his job. Hence, he would seek to modify the aforesaid condition.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Taking into consideration, the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed by modifying the condition to the effect that " the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Guduvancherry Police Station, Guduvancherry every day at 6.30p.m., for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation ". All other conditions remain intact.

5. With the above modifications, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
