ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) order 1982 r/w. 7(1)a(ii) of E.C. Act, 1958 in Crime No.30 of 2022, is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

The petitioner is arrayed as A3 in this case relating to seizure of nearly 2500 Kg of PDS rice. The specific case of the prosecution is that 1000 Kg of PDS rice found in the house of the petitioner during the raid.

Taking note of the fact that the PDS rice which is meant for poor, has been clandestinely stored by the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail petition.
