(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) Mrs. A. Sri Jayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

Though this writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove/demolish the unauthorised construction in Ward No.3, Nagammapudur Village, Annur Town Panchayat, Coimbatore District, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2014 is directed to be disposed of within a time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Special Government Pleader submits that on receipt of the petitioner's aforestated representation, the authorities have already initiated action. A direction has been issued to survey the land and if it is found that there is an encroachment on the road in question, necessary steps shall be taken for removal of the said encroachment.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, it is not necessary to give any direction to the respondents at this stage. However, we expect that the first respondent shall complete the work as early as possible within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
