This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 8/7/2015 of the petitioner and regularize the occupation of the petitioner as a tenant in the shop situate on the southern side entrance of Arulmighu Vaidyanatha Swamy Koil, Thittakudi, Cuddalore District.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that Page No:2/4
during the pendency of the writ petition, petitioner died and subsequently, possession was taken over by the Department.
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. Liberty is granted to the L.Rs of the deceased to work out their remedy in the manner known to law, if so aggrieved. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
