O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.05.2019, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for regularization of her service as Sweeper and to count her service for grant of pension.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as a Part-time Sweeper through Employment Exchange in the office of the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer in Salem District. The petitioner had put in continuous service for more than ten years. The petitioner, therefore, made a representation to the respondents to regularize her services and to count her service and grant pension. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.Ravi Shanmugam, learned counsel appearing on

behalf of the petitioner and Mrs.V.Annalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.05.2019 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 29.05.2019 and a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
